The process for creating custom scenes is incredibly simple. You can create a Philips Hue scene using either the Philips Hue app or Apple HomeKit, and we’ll show you how to do both below!

With the Philips Hue app: Open up your phone’s camera, then tap on “Scenes” at top left. From here, select “Create.” Now choose which lights to include in your scene (you can add up to 50). Afterward, name it whatever you want–this will be how people identify it later when they’re looking through their lists of pre-made options (and if no one else has created a similar name). Finally hit save! You now have an original creation ready for use whenever needed.
Using Apple HomeKit: To create a custom scene with Siri voice commands instead of using an app on your phone screen (which can be easier depending on where you’re standing), open up Settings > Siri & Search > HomeKit within iOS 12’s Control Center menu options (or go directly into Settings > General > Accessibility & Privacy).
